About Me:
Megan started performing from the age of 5, whether it be in dance concerts, school choirs or playing her flute in retirement homes. Since then performing has always been what she has devoted her time to. Being accepted into the Music stream at Luther College in year 7 Megan realises the importance of thorough and consistent training.
After completing VCE Music in Contemporary Voice Megan was accepted into The University of Ballarat Arts Academy to study Bachelor of Arts Music Theatre, in which Megan graduated in 2011 . Whilst at the Academy Megan undertook classes in singing technique, song reportoire, acting and dancing which allowed Megan to refine her skills as a professional performer. Megan played the roles of Alexi Darling/Life support in RENT!, Rose(cover) in The Secret Garden, Daisy in The Rhinoceros Project and was lucky enough to write and perform her own cabaret The Perfect Match at The Butterfly Club in Melbourne.
Megan has also furthered her voice studies by attending different vocal seminars focusing on different techniques making her well equipped to tackle any situation that may arise whilst teaching.
Megan is enthusiastic and dedicated to her students and has a strong desire to pass on her knowledge in fun and rewarding lessons.
